Garlic Butter Vampire T-Bone Steak
- 4 (8 oz) Lindauer T-Bone Steaks
- 1 TB Kosher salt
- 2 TB Olive Oil
- 4 TB Unsalted Butter
- 4 TB Minced Garlic
Combine garlic and butter in a small bowl. Bring steaks to room temperature and coat liberally with Kosher salt. Add olive oil to a cast iron skillet and preheat on high heat until oil is close to it's smoke point. Carefully place the steaks into the hot pan and spoon half of the butter mixture on top of each steak. Let the steaks cook until they have formed a crust (about four minutes). Turn the steaks and apply the remainder of the butter on top of each steak. Continue cooking for about two minutes or until the steaks reach medium rare.
Remove the steaks from the pan and let rest for 3 minutes. Pour the garlic-butter drippings over the steaks and serve.
